Synopsis:

In the supernatural thriller Season of the Witch, The main actor, Nicolas Cage stars as a 14th century Crusader who returns with his comrade (Ron Perlman) to a homeland devastated by the Black Plague.

A beleaguered church, deeming sorcery the culprit of the plague, commands the two knights to transport an accused witch (Claire Foy) to a remote abbey, where monks will perform a ritual in hopes of ending the pestilence.

A priest (Stephen Campbell Moore), a grieving knight (Ulrich Thomsen), an itinerant swindler (Stephen Graham) and a headstrong youth who can only dream of becoming a knight (Robert Sheehan) join a mission troubled by mythically hostile wilderness and fierce contention over the fate of the girl.

When the embattled party arrives at the abbey, a horrific discovery jeopardizes the knight’s pledge to ensure the girl fair treatment, and pits them against an inexplicably powerful and destrustive force.

Personally, I never met any witches yet. But as television and movies including the character in cartoon showing the scary things, we are well known about witches. When I grew up, there are lot of witches character, and they are popular with their own broom. Just like Harry Potter using his broom.

For me, there are witches with snake and its scary me a lot. huh!

Semalam, 12 December 2010 (Ahad), lepas aje gi USJ2 (kawan buat opening day utk tadika baru : http://www.littlecaliphs.com/ ) terus gi serbu Summit USJ. Alang-alang, betol2 opposite je dengan kindergarden tu.

Lepas round-round, either main bowling or tgk movie, last-last we're decided go for movie. Narnia and mcm2 lagi movie yg baru release. Nak tengok citer melayu ada pulak citer Hantu Kak Limah Balik Rumah. Pengarahnya Mamat Khalid.

Secara personal, saya bukan lah penggemar Mamat Khalid sebagai sutradara filem. Cerita Man Laksa dan Zombi Kampung Pisang tak pernah abis pun saya tengok walaupun acapkali dimainkan kat tv time musim raya. Cerita Lang Buana je yg abis, sbb itupun Senario yg berlakon.

Cerita Zombi Kampung Pisang membuatkan saya bertambah tak suka sebab filemnya nampak sgt fake, ntah apa2, paling penting tak best,senang citer.

So, kawan-kawan dah decide pilih movie nih, terpaksa lah ikot. (Tanpa Perasaan). Yang penting pergi ramai-ramai, kalo tak best, boleh borak2 dengan kawan-kawan.

Kami pun dapatkan tiket kat GSC and dapat THX punye cinema. Start lambat plak tu. (Sekali lagi, pergi dengan ramai kawan2 tak la boring sgt).

Lepas beberapa iklan, filem pun start, Hantu Kak Limah Balik Rumah. Dengar perkataan yg disebut laju tu pun dah lucu. Hahaha.

Cerita pun bermula dan saya nampak kelainan filem Mamat Khalid nih dari position camera dan effect bunyi yg best kat THX cinema tu. Sgt best.

Watak-watak macam Awie, Johan raja lawak dan penari kebangsaan sgt kelakar.
Awie yg baru pulang dari Singapore balik ke Kampung Pisang dan berjiran dengan Kak Limah. Awie nampak kak limah sgt pelik yg berdiri kat tingkap.

Malam Awie digangggu, Awie terus berlari ke warung tempat org selalu lepak kat kampung pisang tu. (Sgt lawak). Cer citer cer citer.. hahaha! (utk yg dah tgk citer nih). Jalan cerita yg diselitkan adengan Awie bercinta dgn Cik Nin tak membosankan.

Pastu, bomoh-bomoh dipanggil utk menghalau hantu kak limah(lawak giler) tapi smuanya gagal. Kesan khas bomoh jawa yg pergi ke Gunung Everest dan Pyramid nampak sgt tak kemas, tak pe2, masih boleh cuba lagi utk next movie Mamat Khalid!.

Mesyuarat dibuat dan penari kebangsaan melobi utk bakar je rumah kak limah.
Pastu... anda tgk la sendiri kat pawagam. Hehe~~~. Tak rugi pun. Citer ni mmg best!. Tak macam citer Mamat Khalid yg sebelum ni bosan.

Secara keseluruhan, cerita best, seram-seram kelakar. Untuk movie nih, 4.5 over 5 stars.
